Dear High School Principals, Performance Arts Chair/Director, Band Director, and Supporters of the Performing and Visual Arts:
The Iota Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will host our Annual Talent Hunt Competition Auditions on March 4th from 10am - 1pm. With the impact of COVID-19 in our community, we will continue to put safety as our number 1priority. We are preparing to host our 2023 Annual Talent Hunt Competition in person. We will continue to practice social social distancing and have sanitizing stations for our contestants, family members and supporters.
Utah high school students are invited to register online @ www.Ques-TriIota.org by the February 18th, 2023 deadline. Students are to perform in one of five areas: music, vocal or instrumental (i.e., classical, semi-classical, gospel and jazz); interpretive movement to music (i.e., ballet, modern dance and tap); speech (i.e., poetry, orations and monologues); and art (i.e., visual, sculptures and photography). Finalist will be selected from the five performance categories to perform at the Finals competition on March 18th 2023. The winner of our local competition will receive $1,000 and advance to the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s 78th, 12th District Conference Virtual Talent Hunt Competition, 4th - 7th May 2023 in Anchorage Alaska. The winner of the 12th District competition will receive $1,000. The local state competition is open only to Utah students in grades 9 through 12. All contestants must compete as soloists; no group performances are allowed.
Online registration is open from December 1st, 2022- February 18th, 2023. The website address for online registration is www.Ques-TriIota.org. Professionals will adjudicate the audition and finals competition.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1911 and incorporated in 1914 at Howard University, Washington D.C. The Fraternity has been active nationally and internationally for over 105 years. One of the fraternity’s key international mandated programs is the Talent Hunt. The Talent Hunt Program was established in 1945 and is implemented worldwide annually by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Its purpose is to expose and encourage young gifted, visual and performing artists while assisting them in furthering their education.
