Friendship Is Essential To the SOUL!!!!

Basileus Emmette W. Cornelius IV's Welcome

I am extremely blessed that the Supreme Basileus of the Universe has allowed me to serve as the Basileus of
IOTA IOTA IOTA Chapter (Tri Iota), located in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I am humbled and honored to be able to carry on that legacy that great men before me have taken on!

Our website provides you with information about our members, community-based programs, and fundraising events that are designed to serve the community within which we live.  As the lone area Chapter, Tri Iota has proudly and consistently served the states of Utah and Idaho for nearly 30 years.  It is our commitment to make a profoundly positive impact on the communities we serve through projects in the areas of social action, education, health initiatives, and economic empowerment.  Due to our community’s small African American population and relatively large African immigrant population we believe our presence is vital to promote the positive impact of African American males in the community, educate our community in a variety of areas, and tie our communities together over a greatly dispersed area.

Tri Iota, although a small Chapter, we continue to have a BIG impact through the state of Utah and as well as the 12
thDistrict.  Many Brothers are members of the United States Armed Forces stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Layton, UT, and Ft. Douglas in Salt Lake City.  Others hold prominent positions in education and medicine with the University of Utah and other institutions of higher education. Brothers are enthusiastically involved in many facets throughout our city, serving in leadership roles with Big Brother Big Sisters of Utah,Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS), and numerous churches within the community.  The Chapter also partners with local businesses for our “Feed the Homeless Project” as well as our monthly mentorship at Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake.  Other project includes voter registration; health initiatives, fatherhood initiatives, and our annual back to school BBQ/Back Pack give away.

The Men of Tri Iota Chapter are truly making a difference in our community, and we are deeply committed to the ideas and practice of Omega’s four Cardinal Principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. We believe that
Friendship is Essential to the soul, and in this spirit we humbly welcome you to our online Community.

Thank you for visiting our website, God bless you, your family, and long live
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Thank you for your support!
